LAB1 began in 2012 out of necessity. The water we were testing with wasn’t adequate — pH levels were inconsistent, benzyl presence varied from batch to batch, and particulate content were considerably high for critical lab work. Rather than accept that as the standard, we set out to fix it, starting in a 250 square foot building with a simple commitment to control and consistency.

That commitment became Research H2O — a solution developed with a simple goal in mind: to provide a consistent, well-handled water product intended strictly for research and laboratory use. From the beginning, our focus has been on process and reliability, not mass production shortcuts.

Every batch follows a defined internal workflow — careful preparation, controlled handling, and standardized packaging designed to maintain uniformity across units. We treat water as a foundational lab supply, one that needs to meet expectations every time it’s used in a research setting.

Repeatability guides everything we do. Researchers and labs depend on consistency, and that philosophy shapes every step of our operation, from preparation through fulfillment.

Today, that same commitment is driving our next chapter. Before the end of 2026, we’re moving into a 6,000 square foot, GMP-compliant facility in Houston — a move that positions us to scale toward CGMP compliance and expand beyond research use into pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing.

Research H2O is not positioned as a medical or consumer product. It is prepared and supplied exclusively for laboratory and research environments, where controlled inputs and dependable materials matter.
